Q. Who would take my photographs?
A. Andrew is the main creative photographer, although he has an assistant. He works in the background and therefore prefers to shoot solo.
Q. Do you take some formal photographs?
A. Andrew photographs his wedding in very photographic documentary style, sometimes referred to as photojournalism or reportage, many of his clients only ask for a small amount of formal photos usually up to 10, this takes no more than about 15mins.
Q. Do you take relaxed photographs?
A. Of course, my aim is to ensure I capture every detail of the day. Even formal group shots are done in a way that people feel relaxed.
Q. What is your knowledge of local venues?
A. Andrew covers the whole of the world in his photographic work, because of his documentary style it is not necessary to visit each venue prior to the wedding day. Also the light, weather and even structures may change before the day.
Q. Do you attend the Brides house beforehand?
A. Yes, if require I will attend and photograph the Bridal preparations. The Groom’s preparations can be covered if required.
Q. You seem to photograph in Black and White a great deal, why is this?
A. A lot of our photographs are black and white, we believe that it enhances the style of our photography. Andrew is inspired by a number of photographers and artists who work very much in black and white. A wedding is typically 70% black and white. Although Andrew has photographed weddings in 100% colour or 100% black and white, and he takes the clients wishes into account prior to the wedding.
Q. Do you control the guests or the wedding?
A. No not at all, we work as observers to document your day. We actually interact very little, preferring to be the observer and tell the story through our beautiful images.
Q. For International destinations can you give us a quote?
A. Andrew shoots all over the world and will be happy to provide an individualised quote, based on destination, time etc. Please email us direct for a quote.
Q. Can we purchase framed pictures and can the guests buy pictures?
A. Yes, we have a full range of enlargements and we can also supply frames. We have popular parent/guest albums. Guests can purchase directly from the website if required.
Q. Do you deal with Planners, Organisers and solicitors of your clients.
A. Yes of course, we have experience in dealing with a number of 3rd parties and can be booked through them.
Q. Do we have to sit and choose through hundreds of images for our album?
A. You will get to see all of your photographs in a proof showreel, these all will go in your album, this ensures you have a full record of the day.
